Duct Adapters & Reducers

We have several duct adapters, with different purposes. All are compatible with our current kits and duct range.

There are two rangehood top adapters in the range. Constructed from thick galvanised steel, these are for rangehoods that do not have a neck to attach duct to. There is a 125mm and a 150mm adapter. These have an adhesive ring, to stick the adapter onto the top of the rangehood. The duct attaches to the other end and should be attached with a steel worm clamp and/or duct tape. Ensure that the duct tape is non-flammable. These adapters are both compatible with either aluminium semi rigid duct or aluminium foil flexible duct.

The 125mm to 150mm Duct Adapter (also called a Duct Reducer) is to connect 125mm duct to 150mm duct. The duct adapter slides inside each end of duct and is attached with a worm clamp and/or duct tape. This is also compatible with both semi rigid duct and flexible duct.

The 100mm Dryer Vent Flat Adapter is used with the dryer vent kits - either to attach the DIY Dryer Venting Kit to a non-Electrolux/Simpson model - or with the Heavy Duty Dryer Venting Kit so that the dryer can sit flush against a wall.
